MRO Services

Comprehensive maintenance, repair, and overhaul services covering every aspect of aircraft airworthiness.

Line Maintenance

Line maintenance is the backbone of daily flight operations. Our expert teams perform essential pre-flight and post-flight checks, routine fluid servicing, tyre and brake inspections, and minor repairs directly on the ramp. Available at Wilson Airport and through our network of line stations across East Africa, our line maintenance teams ensure rapid turnaround times and continuous airworthiness, keeping your aircraft on schedule without compromising safety.

Base Maintenance

Base maintenance encompasses comprehensive scheduled inspections and overhauls, including A, B, C, and D checks. These in-depth procedures are performed in our advanced hangar facilities at Wilson Airport, where aircraft undergo thorough structural inspections, system testing, and component replacements. Our meticulous planning and execution ensure these extensive maintenance events are completed efficiently, returning your aircraft to service in optimal condition with full documentation.

Engine Maintenance

Our engine maintenance services are delivered by specialised and certified technicians with in-depth expertise across a wide range of turboprop and turbofan engines. We offer comprehensive services including engine performance trend monitoring, hot section inspections, full engine overhauls, and precision repairs. Using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and adhering strictly to manufacturer specifications, we ensure your engines operate with maximum efficiency, reliability, and safety.

Avionics Services

Stay ahead with our cutting-edge avionics services. We specialise in the installation, repair, and upgrade of all aircraft avionics systems — from communication and navigation to flight management, autopilot, and TCAS systems. Our offerings include advanced glass cockpit upgrades, ADS-B Out compliance installations, satellite communication integration, and EFIS upgrades. Our KCAA-licensed avionics engineers ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

Structural Repair

Our structural repair division is equipped to handle all levels of airframe damage, from minor dents and corrosion treatment to major structural overhauls. Our skilled engineers conduct thorough damage assessments and execute precise repairs on fuselage, wings, empennage, and other critical structural components. We utilise advanced repair techniques including composite repair, and all work is performed in accordance with approved data and documented with full traceability.

Interior Refurbishment

Transform your aircraft's interior with our bespoke refurbishment services. We offer complete cabin restoration and upgrades including luxurious seating re-upholstery, premium carpeting, custom cabinetry, galley upgrades, and advanced in-flight entertainment system installations. Whether you desire a modern refresh or a complete redesign, our team works with you to create an interior that reflects your personal style and meets your operational requirements.

Maintenance Checks Explained

Understanding the different levels of scheduled maintenance and what each involves for your aircraft.

Pre-Flight / Transit Check

Before every flight

A visual inspection of the aircraft exterior, fluid levels, tyre condition, control surfaces, and critical systems. Performed by a licensed engineer or trained pilot. Ensures the aircraft is safe for the next flight.

Duration: 30–60 minutes

A Check

Every 400–600 flight hours

A more detailed inspection covering all aircraft systems, fluid replenishment, filter replacements, and a thorough check of all access panels and doors. Can be performed overnight at a line station.

Duration: 1–3 days

B Check

Every 6–8 months

A more comprehensive inspection including lubrication of mechanical components, detailed system tests, and replacement of life-limited parts approaching their limits. Performed in a hangar environment.

Duration: 3–5 days

C Check

Every 20–24 months

A major inspection requiring the aircraft to be taken out of service. Involves detailed inspection of the airframe structure, all systems, and replacement of significant components. Requires specialised hangar facilities and a large team of engineers.

Duration: 1–3 weeks

D Check (Heavy Maintenance)

Every 6–10 years

The most comprehensive and expensive maintenance event. The aircraft is essentially stripped down to its bare structure, with every component inspected, repaired, or replaced. The aircraft is returned to service in a like-new condition with full documentation.

Duration: 2–3 months

AOG Emergency Support

24/7 — 365 days/year

Our AOG desk provides immediate response to aircraft-on-ground situations. We can mobilise engineers, source parts, and deploy to remote locations within hours to minimise disruption and return your aircraft to service as quickly as possible.

Response time: 2 hours
